Yard Sale Finds

Well I didn't get everything finished but I did put a dent in the list. I needed to go out and get some goodies to BBQ this weekend and I like to get my errands done so I can be home. While I was out I decided that I would check out some yard sales to see if I could find any goodies to help with my entry door. Here is what I found

The wreath (75 cents) was just what I was thinking for the entry door, I just removed the orange flowers (the ones in the ziploc bag) and added some red berries (I already had). I found this candle holder with the hook and candle for $3.00 a lot less than what I would have paid at the store. I also found all this fabric (17 yards) for $6.00, all, except the Christmas, are coordinating large pieces that I will be able to use for complete projects. I didn't put them away until I folded and labeled them, I wanted to try to keep my sewing room neat for a least a month! Gotta go for now!

  1. Love the wreath. It looks great on your entry door. That fabric is really pretty and a great buy. Thats a lot of material for the price. Labeling it before you store it is a great idea.

  2. Your thrift store finds were great! Especially all that fabric for only $6.00. What's great about it is being able to make a project without having to buy fabric to match. That is usually my downfall. I have lots of fabric in my stash, but it goes with nothing already there.

I really enjoy hearing your comments, sorry I had to turn on the "word verification" but I got my first comment from a "non-person".......I prefer comments from people.
