Sewing Fun

Today's weather is gloomy, but warm so the precipitation should be rain, actually the whole weekend is expected to be a great for INSIDE activities.  I am planning to continue working on some of my UFOs, I am making great progress on Green Piece and have started sewing some of the blocks into rows!

These are waiting to be trimmed and squared up...........

so I can add these to the corners..........

I only have four more left to finish the applique in this basket..........

Here is a photo of what the finished quilt is going to look like.
I am hoping to get the large center block cut, add the two borders and get the grass and tree put on it.......so stay tuned to see if I meet my expectations or wander off to one of the other UFOs.

Hope you have a great weekend!

  2. Oh my fav by far... that is absolutely gorgeous Denise... I wouldn't be able to stop on that one, I would want it done yesterday. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.

Have a great weekend... warm but rain and more rain. At least it is washing all the old stuff away. Good day for doing nothing.

    Hugs, Deb

  3. That quilt is gonna be fantastic. I don't have the staying power to finish something like that.

It's a very rainy weekend here. Definitely one for playing in the house.

Our rain has now turned into snow, so it may be another quilt or knit day for me, too. I'm on a roll!

How pretty. I like to just sit and sew at my own pace. I finished Miss Candi;s placemat. Enjoy your sewing.
